The Coppice Ashdown Apex Wooden Greenhouse (CCAP1448X2515OBUN) measures 2.52m x 1.45m (8'3 x 4'9). That footprint fits neatly into a modest back garden while still giving you real growing room across the floor and staging. It is handcrafted and comes with professional installation included in the price.

The frame is built from 44mm x 44mm R4C timber framing with 12mm pressure treated and oiled cladding. The microporous oil lets the wood breathe while blocking rot and fungal decay. Glazing is 3mm toughened glass throughout including the door. That gives strong natural light and handles knocks far better than standard horticultural glass.

Two opening roof vents sit on either side of the apex to regulate temperature. 2-shelf staging is included with fixing brackets to secure it to the frame. You can grow tomatoes and peppers on the floor and use the staging for seedlings and pots. No flooring is included so you will need a prepared base.

The door is right-hand hinged with chrome handles and hinges and a 3-lever mortice lock. It comes with a 1-year warranty. Optional upgrades include guttering a second door and side staging.

No flooring is included with this greenhouse. You must prepare a firm level base - a concrete slab or solid paving is suitable - before the installation team arrives. The base must be level and match the 2515mm x 1448mm footprint. This is the buyer's responsibility to arrange in advance.

Professional installation by Coppice's own team is included in the price so you do not need to self-assemble. The greenhouse uses a clip installation system. The 2.52m x 1.45m floor gives space for two standard grow bags side by side running the length of the greenhouse. That supports around six tomato or pepper plants on the floor. The two-shelf staging handles seed trays and small pots in spring. In summer move tomatoes to the floor and use staging for herbs and cucumbers in pots. In autumn and winter the space is well suited to overwintering tender plants like fuchsias and pelargoniums on the shelves.

Retreat the timber once a year using a suitable wood treatment to protect against rot and fungal decay. Clean the toughened glass panels with warm soapy water to keep light levels high. Check that the two roof vents open and close freely each season. If guttering is fitted as an optional extra clear it regularly to prevent blockages.

At 2.52m x 1.45m this greenhouse suits a garden with limited space. Sit it on a prepared slab with at least 600mm clearance on the door side to open it fully. The two apex vents open upward so no side clearance is needed for ventilation. The included staging doubles your usable surface area without increasing the footprint.
