The Coppice Ashdown Apex Painted Wooden Greenhouse (CCAP1930X1600PBUN) measures 1.6m x 1.93m (5'3 x 6'4). That footprint fits neatly into a compact garden while still giving you real usable growing space inside. Professional installation is included in the price no flat-pack headaches.

The frame is built from 44mm x 44mm R4C timber framing with 12mm pressure-treated cladding finished in grey paint. Glazing is 3mm toughened glass throughout walls, roof and door. That combination handles wind and rain without flexing. The pressure treatment protects the timber from rot at the core.

Two opening vents sit on either side of the apex roof to regulate temperature. 2-shelf staging is included with brackets to fix it to the frame. That gives you bench space for pots and seedlings straight away. You can realistically grow tomatoes on the floor and use the staging for herbs and propagation trays.

The toughened glass door is right-hand hinged with chrome handles and a 3-lever mortice lock to secure tools and equipment. Annual wood retreatment is required to maintain protection. A 1-year warranty is included. Optional guttering and a second door are available as upgrades.

You do not need tools or experience just a prepared level base. Assembly time is not specified but the clip system is designed for speed. Staging brackets are supplied and fitted as part of the installation.

The 1.6m x 1.93m floor gives you room for two standard grow bags side by side that is six tomato or pepper plants at floor level. The included 2-shelf staging runs along one side and holds seed trays, herb pots and propagation modules in spring. In summer use the floor for tall crops like tomatoes and the staging for cucumbers or chillies in pots. In autumn and winter the staging holds overwintering tender plants like fuchsias and pelargoniums off the cold ground.

Retreat the timber once a year to protect against rot and fungal decay this is a condition of keeping the structure in good order. Clean the toughened glass panels with a soft cloth and mild detergent. Check that the two roof vents open and close freely. If guttering is fitted as an upgrade, clear it of debris seasonally.
