The Halls Wall Garden 24 (product 70870) is a lean-to pent-roof greenhouse measuring 1.32m x 0.69m (4'4 x 2'4). That gives you a base area of 0.91m² small enough for a balcony or a tight garden corner. The pent roof design lets it sit flush against a wall or fence, making it one of the most space-efficient growing structures available.

The frame is rust-resistant aluminium low maintenance and built to last, backed by a 12-year frame guarantee. Standard glazing is 3mm horticultural glass. Halls recommend upgrading to toughened safety glass for better performance and safety. The front height is 1.53m with a ridge height of 1.82m.

Ventilation comes from one roof vent. The door is a single 588mm wide smooth-action sliding door which can be left open on warm days. No staging is included as standard but optional two-shelf wire staging is available. You can realistically grow tomatoes, peppers, herbs and seedlings in this space.

A 12-year frame guarantee makes this a serious long-term investment. Optional steel base kit and toughened glass upgrades are available. Self-assembly only instructions and fittings supplied. Also available in green or as a larger 6x2 model.

The Wall Garden 24 uses a pent roof pitched from front to back so rainwater runs away from the wall behind it. The aluminium frame sections are rust-resistant and require no treatment. No base is included. The greenhouse must stand on a firm level surface. An optional steel base kit is available separately it suits both hard and soft ground and includes steel corner ground spikes. It adds 5 inches to the overall height. You must prepare a level area yourself before assembly.

Self-assembly only no installation service is included with the greenhouse itself. Two people are needed and the job takes an estimated 2 to 4 hours. All instructions and fittings are supplied in the box. No anchor kit is included so factor that in if you need extra stability on exposed ground.

The 0.91m² floor area fits one standard grow bag lengthways with room for a pot or two alongside. That gives you space for 2 to 3 tomato or pepper plants on the floor. Add the optional two-shelf wire staging and you gain extra space for seed trays in spring. The 1.53m front height is enough to grow tall tomato varieties. In summer use it for cucumbers and aubergines. In winter it will protect tender plants and overwintering cuttings from frost.

The aluminium frame needs no painting or treating. Clean the horticultural glass regularly to keep light levels high. Check the roof vent opens and closes freely each season. If you fit guttering clear it of debris. Maintaining a level stable base will help protect the frame long term.

The lean-to pent design is built to go against a wall or fence so it uses no more garden depth than 0.69m. You need clearance at the front to slide the door open fully around 600mm is sensible. It cannot go in a corner where the door would be blocked. The 0.91m² footprint is small but the optional staging doubles your usable growing surface.
