The Forest Victorian Tall Wall Greenhouse (VICTGHAVHD) is a 5ft x 2ft (1.47m x 0.72m) pent-roof timber greenhouse designed for gardens where floor space is tight. At just 0.72m deep it sits flush against a wall or fence without eating into your garden. The tall Victorian-style design maximises vertical growing space despite the compact footprint.

The frame is built from pressure-treated timber with 35 x 35mm sections and tongue and groove cladding at 12mm thickness. The 15-year anti-rot guarantee means no annual retreatment is needed. Glazing is shatterproof styrene which won't shatter if knocked a practical choice for a structure close to a boundary.

Two opening roof vents keep air moving and one includes an auto vent that opens automatically as temperatures rise. Two shelving heights are built in with fold-down middle shelves for taller plants. A back panel is supplied. You can realistically grow tomatoes, herbs, seedlings and tender plants in a structure this size.

The 1.47m x 0.72m floor area is tight but workable. Two grow bags fit end to end along the floor that gives you six tomato or pepper plants in summer. The built-in shelving at two heights is where this greenhouse earns its space use the upper shelf for seed trays in spring and the lower for potted herbs or plug plants. The fold-down middle shelves free up floor height for cordon tomatoes or tall chillies. In autumn clear the shelves and use the floor space to overwinter tender perennials or dahlia tubers.
