The Halls 6x6 Green Frame Polycarbonate Greenhouse (SO8113) gives you a 1.92m x 1.94m growing footprint roughly 6ft x 6ft in a compact apex-roof structure that fits neatly into a small garden. That's just under 3.75 square metres of usable floor space. The green powder-coated aluminium frame resists rust without annual painting. A 15-year guarantee backs the whole structure.

The frame is powder-coated aluminium finished in green. Glazing is UV-stabilised 4mm twin-wall clear polycarbonate lighter and safer than glass. The panels won't discolour or fade. The powder coating prevents rust and the polycarbonate holds up to wind and rain without cracking or shattering.

The apex roof includes one opening vent to keep air moving and prevent overheating. The smooth-action sliding door gives easy access and can be left open for extra airflow on warm days. No staging is included but the floor space fits two standard grow bags side by side. Tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers and overwintering tender plants all suit this size well.

Integrated guttering channels rainwater away and can feed a water butt. No base or floor is included a matching Halls aluminium base is available separately. Also available with a silver frame.

The frame is aluminium with a green powder-coat finish that prevents rust. The apex roof sits at 1950mm ridge height with eaves at 1240mm giving a reasonable roof pitch for rain run-off. One roof vent opens manually to release heat. The sliding door runs on a track and needs no swing space. Integrated guttering is built into the eaves.

A matching Halls aluminium base is available as an optional extra and can only be bought at the same time as the greenhouse.

This greenhouse arrives flat packed for DIY self-assembly. Professional installation is available at extra cost if preferred. Two people are strongly recommended one to hold sections while the other fixes them. No assembly time is stated by the manufacturer. The 1.928m x 1.948m floor fits two standard grow bags side by side enough for four to six tomato or pepper plants. In spring use the floor space for seed trays and propagation. In summer tomatoes, cucumbers and chillies all do well. Add a staging bench along one side to double your usable surface for pots. In autumn and winter use it to overwinter tender perennials, fuchsias and citrus. A small electric heater keeps frost off on cold nights.

The powder-coated aluminium frame needs no repainting or retreatment. Clean the polycarbonate panels once a year with warm soapy water and a soft cloth. Clear the integrated guttering of leaves and debris each autumn. The panels are UV-stabilised and should not discolour with normal care.

At just under 2m square this greenhouse fits into a corner of a small garden or against a fence. Leave at least 600mm clearance on the door side to open it fully. The sliding door means no swing clearance is needed. The apex roof sheds water cleanly. Despite the small footprint you get full standing height at the ridge of 1950mm.
