The Forest Garden Victorian Walkaround Greenhouse (WRGHAVHD) has a footprint of just 0.9m x 1.2m (3ft x 4ft). That is roughly the size of a large doormat. Yet it gives you a working ridge height of 2130mm and removable slatted staging so even a tiny garden gets a proper growing space.

The frame is built from 45x45mm pressure-treated FSC®-certified timber with a 15-year anti-rot guarantee so no retreatment is needed. Glazing is 2mm styrene lightweight and virtually unbreakable which makes it far safer than standard horticultural glass. The apex roof sheds rain well and the sturdy timber frame handles wind without flexing.

Ventilation comes from opening window vents plus one automatic vent that opens and closes based on temperature no manual adjustment needed. Removable slatted staging is included. There is also floor space for two grow bag trays. Tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers and overwintered tender plants all work well here.

Four latched doors can be hung in different positions to suit your garden layout. You can tend plants without stepping inside. Small footprint, serious growing capacity and a 15-year guarantee make this a practical buy for any garden.

No floor or base is included. You must prepare a firm level surface before assembly a concrete slab or solid paving at 900mm x 1200mm is the right size. The ground must be level. This is the buyer's responsibility and must be done before the greenhouse arrives.

WRGHAVHD arrives flat packed with all fixings and instructions included. No professional installation is included though it is available as an add-on. Two people are strongly recommended given the 82kg packaged weight and number of panels. Assembly is straightforward following the supplied instructions. Expect a half-day for two people working at a steady pace.

The 900mm x 1200mm base fits two standard grow bags side by side on the floor that gives you six tomato or pepper plants. The removable slatted staging adds a second level for seed trays and pot plants. In spring use the staging for seed sowing and pricking out. In summer remove the staging on one side and drop in grow bags for tomatoes, cucumbers or chillies. In autumn use the floor space to overwinter tender perennials and tender container plants that cannot survive frost outside.

The pressure-treated frame needs no annual retreatment. Clean styrene glazing with a soft cloth and mild detergent avoid abrasive cleaners. Check the automatic vent mechanism moves freely each spring. Keep the base clear of standing water and debris to protect the bottom rails and maintain the 15-year guarantee.

At 0.9m x 1.2m this is one of the smallest full-height greenhouses available. It fits in a corner or against a fence as long as you leave around 600mm clearance on the door side to open the panels fully. The four doors mean you can choose which side faces the path.
